Terms of Use

Background

  • SalaryWala.in and the mobile apps, web interfaces, APIs, documentation, servers and all other Intellectual Property, software and infrastructure (individually referred to as "SalaryWala", registered and operated by SalaryWala, a company, incorporated in India.
  • Salarywala is the name of the platform developed, owned and operated by Salarywala, a company incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act 1956. Throughout these terms, "We", "Our", "Us", "Salarywala", and "App/Website" refer to the company "Salarywala" and the terms "YOU", "YOUR", and "USER" refer to users of SalaryWala.
  • These Terms of Use, which include and hereby incorporate the "Privacy Policy", are a legal agreement between SalaryWala and You. By using or accessing SalaryWala, you agree (i) that you are 18 years of age or older, (ii) if you are the age of majority in your jurisdiction or over, that you have read, understood, and accept to be bound by the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
  • We reserve the right to make changes to these “Terms of Use” at any time. Any such modifications will become effective immediately upon posting to the App/Website, and Your continued usage of the App/Website and/or the Services (as defined below) constitutes your agreement to such modifications. You agree to periodically review the current version of these Terms of Use as posted on the App/Website.

Services and Restrictions on Usage

  • You may use the Services in accordance with our contractual arrangement with You or your Employer/organisation that you represent.
  • Subject to Your compliance with these Terms of Use, SalaryWala grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use and access the Service.
  • You agree not to (and not to attempt to) (i) use the Service for any use or purpose other than as expressly permitted by these Terms of Use.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We reserve the right to refuse any user access to the Services without notice for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of the Terms of Use.
  • If you violate these Terms of Use, We reserve the right to issue you a warning regarding the violation or immediately terminate or suspend any or all accounts you have created using the Service. You agree that SalaryWala need not provide you notice before terminating or suspending your Account(s), but it may do so.

General Refund Policy

  • You agree and acknowledge that subject to the available balance in your SalaryWala account & the applicable entitlement for the refunds (as per specific terms & conditions), SalaryWala shall refund the balance available in your SalaryWala account.
  • All refunds shall be routed to the same bank account through which the transaction was initially processed or the details of the bank account as provided by the User.
  • The User cannot seek a refund of any payment made through SalaryWala at any time after the payment has been processed by SalaryWala as a right, SalaryWala processes a claim for refund solely at their discretion.

Please note that we will not entertain a request for refund (Full or Pro-rated) when your account is blacklisted or is a reported account due to violation of our Terms of Services.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Please read the Privacy Policy as it describes the types of data we collect from You and Your devices (“Personal Information”), how we use your Personal Information and the legal basis for processing your Personal Information.

Usage of SalaryWala

  • If you use SalaryWala as a User, You are responsible for maintaining the security of the devices on which the SalaryWala App is installed and/or used, as well as the security of Your account associated with the SalaryWala. You are responsible for all activities that occur on a SalaryWala App/Website under your account.
  • You may only access the SalaryWala and use the Services for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for the knowledge of and adherence to any or all provisions of Applicable Law pertaining to Your use of SalaryWala and its Services. You agree that you will not in any way:
    • Interfere with the ability of others to access or use SalaryWala App/Services.
    • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers or networks connected to the Services, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies, or regulations of networks connected to the Services.
    • Upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or transmit) files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, corrupted files or data, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of the Service or other users' computers.
    • Violate applicable laws or regulations, or promote and encourage any illegal activity including, but not limited to, hacking, cracking or distribution of counterfeit software, or cheats or hacks for the Service.

Governing Law

The laws of India will govern your use of Our App/ Website. The Users agree that any legal action or proceedings arising out of Your use may be brought exclusively in the competent courts/ tribunals having jurisdiction in New Delhi, India and irrevocably submit themselves to the jurisdiction of such courts/ tribunals.
